Rugged Ridge floor mat review

Let me start by saying this is my third vehicle to buy "premium floor mats" for.
The first two were both WeatherTech. for a 2007 Honda Odyssey and a 2005 Dodge Magnum R/T. The fit in the front on the Magnum was awesome. It was as if they were poured into placement. The rears...not so much. Same story with our Honda, fronts awesome and middle was horrible (sides curled up etc..)
Fast forward to today. I wanted to try something new because of the middle and rear issues I had with the WT's. At first I bought the Quadratec's (same as the RR but $109 for front and rear). I was not concerned about having the QT logo. They were back ordered so I took a shot and bought the RR's. Like I said, my only issue with the WT's was the rear fit, until I got the RR's. The RR's actually have some rubber in them. They are not a hard plastic like the WT's and honestly are much less noisy when you move your feet around on them(personal pet peeve). Now the design on the RR's might not be for everyone (they almost look like a tire tread). In fact I probably would not get them on anything but a Jeep like SUV. The bottom line these bad boys are (I know this is sexist:D ) made for men(or a Jeep owner). Hence the name.
Flame away:cool:
I forgot to add my one issue with the RR is the rear cargo area. It seems like the cover could have been a bit bigger.

Sorry, had to. :D I'm curious to see these tire tread looking things and the fit. Even though I already have the WTs, it's good to see other options.

That's my only quip with the rear cargo mat. My only conclusion is it's smaller so if the seats are reclined it still fits well with out stressing it, but still seems a smudge small, but I didn't close the gate like that so that could come into play as well.

Thanks. I like the look of the cargo mat. I only have the WTs fronts and rears.

Here are some of mine.
I'm not sure you can see the quarter but, I included it to show how deep the treads are. The area beyond the quarter treads are less deep but has more rubber cause it is where your shoes rest.

I do see the difference in depth. Those are some meaty mats.

Dude I'm tell'n ya it's the name!
Heck if I ever get stuck in snow or mud I am going to take them out put them under the tires and I'm not stuck anymore.

All season mats for sure.

When 6ilesK first got these they looked good but not until seeing this post do they look like potentially the best WK2 matt. Looks like a great combination of the Mopar soft rubber, with the better coverage and bigger lips of Weathertech/Husky, plus some Manly Beef.

Thumbsup.
