Help asap!!!

ok so today i decided to clean out my engine bay and everything went fine. right after getting done i drove and stopped at a couple different stores and the jeep was fine... then i got home popped the hood and it sat for about 2 1/2 hrs. when i went to leave the eng was vibrating pretty good and sounded horrible... i drove about two minutes down the road and and my check eng light came on. i checked the codes and i got a cyl 6 ignition coil insufficient ionization and a cyl 6 misfire... so i started the jeep again and it sounded fine so i took it around the block drove ok but when i stepped on it it spitted and sputtered... so i cleared the code to see if it would come back and it didnt. so i figured maybe a fouled plug. took it out looked fine. so i swapped cyl 6 coil and plug with cyl 1 and went out and drove it again and i got the check eng light but when i checked the code it said cyl 8 misfire??? wtf any suggestions... im feelin it has somethin to do with the eng bay cleaning...

Something got water in it.

Check all electrical connections for water/moisture then start it up and let it idle for a bit.

I would check all your coils and PCM connections.

I would agree with the above, something is wet and shorting to ground.

I would expect it is the ASD control circuit, the coil shorting out, or something internal to the PCM.

I would give things plenty of time to dry out, and hopefully things will go back to normal.

pull the #6 coil out and pull the plug, reinstall the plug, dry the coil pack off and reinstall and clear the codes ;)
