Shifting after lift

Hey guys, just something I've noticed and wondering if someone can help.

After lifting my truck and adding larger tires, I've noticed it's shifting weird. I feel like it's shifting way to late and takes much longer to shift. I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to fix this. Do they sell a chip for the 3.7, or can I have it re-tuned somewhere? Any help/advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: Shifting after lift

3.7 shifting handling differs even if you use different gasoline.

US Regular 87 (91 EU)
is the factory specs for the 3.7 engine

if you uses
US Premium 91 (95 EU)
downshifting gears 3to2 takes longer, and OD unlocking on gear 3,4,5 is near to unpossible.

Be sure, you use the same gas as before the lift.

For the tuner check http://www.jeepgarage.org/f183/sct-tuner-for-the-3-7l-ohhh-yeah-25572.html

That's strange. My 3.7 downshifts were a lot better after my lift and tires....as weird as it might sound.

Mine has been acting the same exact way since my lift/tire install. Im just dealing with it for now until someone releases a programmer for '08 + 3.7's to fix this problem.

Re: Shifting after lift

HyperTech already has programmer for 08+. If I'm not mistaken.

Just called, and Hypertech does not recalibrate shift points for any Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge vehicle. Kinda sucks

Good news is, is that my local AutoZone has one in stock. Very tempting... part#52501
