Rubber Seal on Bonnet

Was checking under the hood tonight and noticed that there was no rubber seal on the left hand underside of the bonnet

would some one be able to check to see if this correct

mine is the same.
The rubber is designed to stop water from being ingested by the air intake. It looks like it seals against the headlight, so that if you hit a big water crossing and the water came up to the bonnet, it would stop it forcing down the intake from the bow wave. That is my theory anyways.

Its strange as there are 3 holes on the left side for a rubber seal :confused:

Mine has the rubber seal installed.

Ooops, too quick there. There is only a rubber seal in front of the air intake, none on the other side. There is also a small foam-block to divert water from getting into the air intake if driving in heavy rain, introduced after somebody got a hydro-locked engine.
