Cleaned the interior today.

Well it is a nasty rainy day here in Kentucky, and the wife told me to get out of the house because she was cleaning, so I figured I might as well clean the Jeep.

Started by sucking up the loose dirt with a shop vac then started on the drivers side and worked the carpet good with some resolve spot cleaner. Then I did the trim with some warm water and dawn, then followed up with some trim conditioner from dura-gloss. Cleaned the windows with Stoners glass cleaner, and finished up with the seats. Cleaning them with warm water and conditioned them with some left over King Ranch leather conditioner. It smells like a new vehicle with fresh leather now.

Just take your time and keep working the dirty areas until they suit you. I am picky over my vehicles though. I try to keep them clean all the time, so I don't have to kill myself to get them clean again. After you get it clean, go back over it again just to make sure you get everything. I take pictures and then come in the house and put them on the computer to look at them and see if I see any more dirty spots or problem areas.

It really just depends on how involved you want to be with working on the vehicle, and what your expectations are. To polish and wax a vehicle correctly is crazy time consuming. What condition is your finish in?

I really like Meguiars NXT paste, but it can be hard to work with sometimes.

aqhhh bro....theres tons of topics. I personally like P21s Concours Carnuaba. I would clay bar, 2 coats of Meguiers #21 sealant and then a nice coat of the P21S.
