They only have silver one now, but it is MASSIVELY reduced! MSRP - $65,375. Buy it now -$56,966! Yes folks, that is a $8,409 discount. This dealership had them marked up by $5K when they first came out. I thought these things would hold their value?

Love them, but I am seeing many sit for quite some time these days.

Yep. The things are definately for a speciality market. It seems that this market is shrinking though. 5-8 of these are always on ebay. Its just a matter of time before the dealers start discounting in order to actually sell them. When upper 4-5 dollar gas hits this summer, we should see some good buys. There will be a few owners that will have to sell them early for various reasons, I sure wouldnt want to be one of these owners because thay are going to take a big hit.

On a side note..

In Ontario, we're already spending over $5 per gallon. I pay $1.35 per liter. Its been this way for well over a year.

I thought they were all pre sold LOL. Some dealers here (Edmonton) still have them marked up to $80K

I love how some people that can't get a WK2 SRT8 continue to try and spread as much doom and gloom as they can.

P.S. People who buy a $60k+ high performance SUV can afford an extra $1 per gallon for gas. If they can't, then they are an idiot who shouldn't have bought a $60k vehicle ;)

I'm paying almost $1.50 a liter for premium (91) here in Vancouver, its BRUTAL, not that its stopping me from driving around with a big smile on my face everytime I stomp on the gas. If your wondering that translates to $5.69 per gallon.

Gotta agree there. I hate the mileage, but I knew exactly what I was getting into. Anyone who bought this car, and then says that they're only getting 9MPG and they can't afford the gas, shouldn't have bought it.

That said, it is frustrating to not even go 170 miles and have to get gas already! :-)

After seeing it's the Cherry Hill dealer again, I'm questioning whether that price is valid. I bet they have a trade value or something else built in there. I'd almost bank on it.

sorry, but if I wanted to pay for one, I certainly could. not spreading doom and gloom, just pointing out the facts that the prices will, and already are, going down. It was the same story when the first gen came out and I bought one of the first 3,000 units. folks paid a premium, and I got one for EP.

again, I love the vehicle.

I've never seen someone consistently point out so much negativity about a vehicle when they "love" it and "certainly could" pay for one.

And one price, from a questionable dealer at best, proves nothing about the market.

Is the gas tank smaller than the stock WK2??? 170 miles on a full tank? That translates to 7mpg based on a 24gal tank... Thought this thing was 13city/18hwy. Or more like 12/17 based on posts I have seen... I guess it all depends how heavy your foot is... :)

Alright! Now the wk2 isnt so far off from the wk1 SRT. I'm lucky to see 140 miles out of a tank of gas. hehe

Worth every penny though!
