First GC Owner

Well, I'm happy to say I am now the proud owner of a 2011 Laredo X.

I don't have any pictures yet. It was raining today. As soon as it clears up here, I will shoot some pics.

Here is what I got. Not sure how much longer it will be on their website.

We went out for breakfast this morning since we didn't have to work today.
On the way home my wife says, "Lets go look at the red GC you liked".

4 hours later, I was driving it home!

I was able to talk them down a couple thousand, so I went for it.
I hope I made the right decision...

Now I just have to figure out how to work everything.

If anyone has any pointers, please share.

Welcome to the garage! You'll get lots of information here, but another good place to read up on features is WK2 Jeeps.com. The link is on the home page.

Thanks Archer,

Since I bought this used at a Chevy dealer, I'm thinking it would be a good idea to take it into my local Jeep dealer to check if there are any recalls or bulletins that need to be addressed.

Welcome!!

Yes very good idea to bring it into a Jeep dealer and have them perform any bulletins that pop up. Also have them inspect everything(suspension, brakes, hoses, belts, etc etc) would also be a good idea.

This is a good idea, but you can't go in and say, "Do all applicable TSB's." You need to research the ones you want done (on WK2jeeps.com) and make a specific compliant that would be covered by a specific TSB. Chrysler will only pay dealer for specific complaints. The "do all" days are over according to my dealer as it was costing a Chrysler a fortune.

Certain bulletins(TSBs) are mandatory though and will pop up on their system with they run the VIN. Others though are optional and you must bring them the TSBs in writing and explain to them that you are experiencing the symptoms.

All TSBs are located here: http://wk2jeeps.com/wk2_tsb.htm
