WildVisionsWK - Build Thread
I figured I would start one of these since I'm slowly starting to customize my WK and make it my own. This thread will probably progress slowly at times since I am a college student (pre-veterinary medicine) and am often insanely busy with school work, clinical internships, etc.

My WK was purchased in Dec '10. It's a 2005 Grand Cherokee Laredo that is the exact opposite of 'fully loaded' ( does have a cargo cover accessory at least). Needless to say, it is the most bare-bones WK you will ever see...for now.

Most of the photos in this first post are from my iPhone, but once I finish up a few more mods I'll take it out for a shoot with my dSLR so I can get proper images.

And a few photos showing what's been done thus far.
Plasti-Dipping my emblems
Tinting my tails using Rust-oleum Lens Tint and Dupli-Color Clear. Everything was still very wet when this was shot. Once the clear settles/hardens I will wet sand/polish it to an even, high gloss shine, as it's not quite perfect at the moment. I plan on swapping my stock tails out for some LED ones soon, but in the meantime I decided to quickly tint these just to experiment and make them look less 'blah'. It will be much easier to tint the LED ones as I will do the work before installing them rather than painting them on the vehicle, plus I have some experience now.
Plasti-Dipping my pillars matte-black. I may do an actual paint job on these later on, depending on how well the 'dip holds.

Right Now:
Sorry for the support pole in the way. :P I will snap a better photo later this week.

I'm also planning on Plasti-dipping my grille and stock wheels along with painting my calipers later this week or over the weekend.

Re: WildVisionsWK - Build Thread
Thanks everyone! :) Heh, also thought I'd throw it out there, seeing as how I'll probably be called 'man' and 'dude' a lot otherwise, but I'm actually female. *gasp* A girl that's into DIY car mods? Yep, we exist, although we're quite the endangered species.

08Hemi - I have actually been planning the grille 'retrofit' mod, although I am taking it a step further and ordering perforated aluminum sheets instead of a mesh for a more unique/one-off look. Plus I like the various shape options available for the perforations. :D I may also run some amber LED lights (smoked), one in each of the 7 slots, for some nice grille accent lighting.

Chaoul1 - The next mods (in no particular order) are:

Grille retrofit/restyling
Plasti-dipping my factory wheels
Painting my calipers yellow
Tints (they may look dark in the photos, but they're not really. :/)
LED Tail lights
Headlight Projector Retrofit (this will be a big one, and the most exciting of the mods)
Fog lights
2.5-3" Lift (still deciding on manufacturer/brand)
265/70r17 BFG A/T tires for a more aggressive look

Re: WildVisionsWK - Build Thread
As for the grille get an SRT Grille w/ the Mesh in it. Look at my signature and you'll see what I mean by the Mesh.

I'm doing the retro-fit once I get my next check :D

Re: WildVisionsWK - Build Thread
Cristina, this should help you with the projector retrofit. I'm sure you can put more into it than I did. I wanted to keep mine simple.
