Shipping costs

Hello all, i most probably have to get a new cooling radiator for my jeep. Just checked some out at Rockauto.com and saw that the shipping costs are around 280 USD:eek::eek::eek:, for a 100-130 USD part.
Anybody has any ideas on a cheaper way of shipping?

There's no place in South America who sells parts like that you can order from?

Yikes buddy that sucks unfortunately I don't know of any way I can help. Good luck hopefully the dealership isn't too expensive but I'd have to guess its around 300 from them.

US Postal Service will be slower, but much cheaper. Most companies don't offer them as an option though because the tracking system is either non-existent or it sucks. I shipped some tails to a member in Australia for MUCH less through USPS. The same package through FedEx or UPS was significantly more expensive.

I still like the good old USPS. They would probably be thriving if it wasn't for UPS and FedEx.

Partly that too. If they didn't have competition it would be an obvious success for them seeing as there would be no one else to mail with.

The USPS could also do without government intervention, if they could charge enough to be profitable and dump the oversight expenses they would be in much better shape.
