Splash Guards on 2012 Overland

I am eagerly awaiting delivery of my 2012 GC Overland, and went to my dealer to finalize the paperwork, etc. While there I asked to have the MOPAR Splash Guards (front and rear) installed before I picked it up. The rep looked up the guards in his MOPAR catalog and told me that they were not designed for the Overland, and were listed as "late availability". Can anyone confirm this or is my dealer rep mistaken?
Thanks.

I have them on mine, came standard. I hate them and want to remove them soon. All they seem to do its rub and hit things when i go over bumps.

I saw a white WK2 with splash guards while visiting Miami and they looked great. I wish I had saved those pictures I took.

it's ugly, but serves a purpose. they hang down too low and doesn't look right.

check out http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread...light=mud+flap for some more photos and discussion.

They seem to protect against chips from rocks as well as providing everyday protection from water kickup. IMO they look ok

I will definatley be getting them when my jeep comes in. It's amazing how well they protect the side of your vehicle. Whether it be slop or stones. My 07 Tacoma has some massively low ones but I can drive on slightly wet roads with a spotless truck and get where I'm going pretty clean. On the jeeps they blend in with the blaCk plastic down low anyway IMHO.

Agreed...they make the WK2's butt look big.

Thanks to everyone for their input. I know that some like the splash guards and some do not. My point is that I like them, and want them on my Overland. My question is about my dealer information - does MOPAR say their GC splash guards are NOT for the Overland, or is my dealer wrong or has old information. Thanks.

They fit the overland, same set. The overland body is no different then any of the other models, ie limited, x package etc. They won't fit the srt8 however.

I would say like most dealerships that they don't have a clue. If they fit everyone else's wk2 then they will fit yours.
