Was getting a 730n a mistake?

I ordered a jeep this week with the 730n. Since then I have read about there being issues with it. Should I have just stuck with the standard one on my limited?? Or are the issues not a big deal?

I had no issues with my 730N, other than dated graphics I liked it a lot.

I like the 430N. Do not need touch phone dial on screen. But there are no major complaints about the 730N.

IMHO its not worth the steep extra cost unless you must have GPS dead reckoning and/or want to enter destination info via voice while underway. I tried to order am Overland with the 430N but was forced to buy the 730N as they had loads of them on the shelf at the time.

The latest updates to both radios seem to resolve most of their irritations, most of which have to do with iPod or smartphone integration.

If you are into more sophisticated way points, route definition, searches, and POIs, the 430N is a far superior GPS.

Otherwise both are decent radios.

Not sure what happening when loading my cell phonebook into uconnect. It will have other phone #'s and people listed as it was a demo jeep. I deleted all, and started fresh, and still has unknown people. My home phone # comes up with some other name?? Got me confused.

How do I get my 730N updated? My maps are way out of date and I don't think the firmware has ever been updated/

Updated firmware is now available through your dealer. Map upgrades are available for $149 at: Chrysler_Fresh_Maps

Since you're WK2 is a 2011, just click "activate", enter your VIN and to get to the shopping cart. This assumes you have an RHR.
