Warranty and Service Maintenance Plans

I've been searching the site over the weekend for a likely purchase in the next month. Is there a thread with all of the Warranty and Servcie Maintenance Plans? The Chrystler maintenance plan site has 3 options and their descriptions seem to be break/fix except for the "convenience" which is only oil changes. Here is what i've seen around the site that people are purchasing. I'd like to collect all of the details.

Lifetime Warranty - Lifetime warranty through Jeep at purchase

Maxlife Warranty - Lifetime warranty through Chrysler

No-cost Maintenance Plus - 3-years / 36,000 miles - valued at $1,100 includes $0 deductible, free oil and oil filter changes, scheduled and recommended maintenance and a $35 per day rental car allowance. The program also offers $1,000 trip interruption coverage, which provides up to $1,000 for lodging, meals and car rental if a vehicle breaks down under warranty more than 100 miles from home.

I'm going to post all of this in the Fields Jeep area later this week.

What I can tell you, cost on the lifetime max care warranty with a $100 deductible is $1700. Any ext service contract thru Chrysler gives you the rental car/trip interruption, etc. Now finding a dealer to sell it at that is another story.

Re: Warranty and Service Maintenance Plans

One of the things I tell everyone, my deal on new Jeeps isn't meant to be the best deal, it's meant to be a great no hassle, no BS deal. I sell all new CJD products excluding SRTs for 1% to 2% under invoice less any other incentives you qualify for. 1% to 2% under could be anywhere from $300 under invoice to $900 under depending on the vehicle. That's my deal and you don't even have to play the games to get it.

I'm going to do special ext warranty pricing as well. The point of this is very simple. Can you do better than my pricing, the answer is yes. Is my deal easy, quick and still a great deal, the answer is yes. My pricing on ext warranties won't be the best, it's not meant to be. I'll be posting cost as well as what I will sell the ext warranty for. For some on here, they will think my pricing on new vehicles and ext warranties is too high. That's fine with me, what I offer is the easiest, hassle free experience that most of you want and complain about not getting.

I apologize to the OP for going off topic, but look for my ext warranty info later this week.

OK great. Looking forward to seeing what service contracts are available that include not only oil changes but all parts needed for service.

http://www.chryslerfactoryplans.com - Many members have gone

2150 for Lifetime with 100 deductible. They also send you a coupon when you get a quote and then don't buy within a day or two for another 100+ off. Lastly if your within 1yr and 12,000 miles it is $150 less then what I told you up there--- so its 2000 plus wait for the 180 or so dollar coupon brings it down to like 1800-1850.

Check this thread for some good info.

I found the other website.. It is http://chryslerwarrantys.com/

They also send a coupon almost instantly after you get a quote its for $190 coupon. ChryslerWarrantys is more money so I provided the cheaper one first which was chryslerfactoryplans.

ChryslerWarrantys quotes 2399 lifetime 100 deductible or 2249 if under 12month 1/yr. Plus that coupon, brings it down to 2,059

Before you do anything I think it would be wise to definitely wait and see what Pat can offer us forum members as it is great to be able to take advantage of a great deal and also support a forum vendor.

Below is some information regarding the oil change plan Chrysler offers:

Cheapest I have seen on the oil change plan. Although almost any dealer will match these prices for the oil change service contract. You can even call chrysler service contracts and they offered the same price on the phone for a few of the years.

oil change plan.

I apologize but that just cracks me up. I needed a laugh today.

IMO, forum members should buy where it is the cheapest as long as it is a Chrysler warranty. One of the biggest and cheapest online sellers of the ext warranties is a dealer in Michigan. The issue I have with them is if you live in Michigan they won't sell the warranty to you for the price advertised.

I assume you are talking about chryslerfactoryplans as they are based in MI and I believe the cheapest on the net as far as I am aware from a dealer as a factory warranty plan not third party.

That's correct. Now It's been 4 months or so since I went there and pretended to be a customer. They could have changed it, but it's been that way for years with them. Personally I don't like that. "You live out of state so we'll give you the deal, but if you live in our backyard we are going to charge you more". It's that type of crap that gives the auto industry a bad name.

Re: Warranty and Service Maintenance Plans

OK, which plans are really backed by Chrysler ? Any ? www.chryslerfactoryplans.com ? http://chryslerwarrantys.com/ ? Seems unlikely there would be two.

Am interested in a lifetime plan for my new WK2.
