Easy shine

I ran my 2011 JGC through a touchless car wash (no brushes). Of course, it didn't get all the dirt/dust out. I then used Chemical Guys P40 Detailer + Spray White Carnuba Quick Detailer. It is easy to put on and wipe off and produces a nice shine.

Looks great, man those are show room new looking wheels! Do you have much experience with their other products? I've heard good things about Chemical Guys but have never used them.

Thanks! Same here. I was my own in summer. Luckily, for winter,
I found this touchless wash nearby. Sometimes I run it through the wash twice (at $7. each) depending on how dirty it is.

Thanks! I bought the wheels from Tire Rack to mount my winter tires. I like the wheels better the the 20 inch original equipment wheels. So, when the Bridgestone DMV-1 winter tires wear out, I think I'll get some AT tires, mount them on these wheels, and keep them on all year.

I heard about the Chemical Guy's product somewhere else on this forum. This is the only one of their products I have tried.

Question: Even if it is a "touchless" car wash is their soap that comes down gentle enough to not strip wax off? We have had such a mild winter in the St Louis area that I've been able to hand wash my JGC since I got it in December.

Nice wheels, by the way.

A good bit of my detailing products are Chemical Guys and I have had nothing but excellent results. I also have quite a few items from Griot's Garage, Poorboy's, Meguiar's, Duragloss, Mothers etc...I guess I like to experiment.

-P40 Quick Detailer
-Jetseal 109
-Pete's 53 carnauba wax
-Stripper Scent air freshener
-Hex Logic buffing pads
-EX Creme Glaze II
-Interior Clean Detailer
-Liquid Leather Cleaner & Conditioner (just ordered a bottle of this to try)

Here is a just a sampling...

Nice job. What, no ONR? That stuff is the bomb for winter washes in the garage.
