bleeding brakes with bleeder gun
Anyone try to bleed their brakes with one of those bleeder guns (sucking the fluid out of the caliper)?

Think it will work on a 97 TJ?

I ask because I've tried it on other cars and some it works on, some it doesn't... And I reserve asking my wife to come to the garage to help me for when the jack stands have collapsed and I'm dying.

I've tried the pressure bleeders, the ones that pump fluid in from the reservoir, but never one that sucks it out of the bleeder valves.

i have used them,,,,not specifically on a 97 TJ. they do work. I actually prefer it over other methods.

I've used both and both work but pressure bleeding is the way to go. 15 lbs of air and just walk around the vehicle and crack the bleeders till you get all fluid. Easy to make too just need a spare cap, a valve and a few fittings.
