hey. i found a kit on ebay that does the over head lights, kick panel lights, rear seat lights, cargo trunk lights and license plate lights. found it on ebay for $40 i think shipped to my house. the only problem i have is that the lights by the mirror seem to be on a very low dim when i shut the car off. seems like they stay on somewhat ALL the time.

that's the permaglow. it happens when your resistance is wrong, which is what happens when you do an LED conversion with cheap ebay lights.

it can be fixed by either switching one bulb back to normal, usually the trunk light, or buying a set from one of our vendors that is created specifically to last longer than the cheap LEDS, and keep your wiring safe without a glow.

There are kits, but the quality is suspect on many. Many elect to get them through v-leds, superbrightleds or the like. You have to look up the individual bulbs and find them yourself usually, but the quality is top-notch.

For lights staying on even when the ignition is off, a good fix is a resistor tied into the interior lighting system. The place many people like to install them is connected to the cargo area light, as there is plenty of room for the resistor.

Dont buy cheap ebay lights unless you are looking for your jeep to catch on fire......

If you want to play you gotta pay. Go to v-leds and remember you get what you pay for.
