Leather seats

Did anyone treat the leather seats? I am concerned since I saw my wife's Lexus 2010 leather seats start cracking........on the other hand ,I am not sure if it is a good idea, because of the Perforations in the leather....
What's your opinion ??

Re: Leather seats

It is fine to treat them, just don't use a thick cream that can clog the perforations. I personally use Chemical Guys Leather Conditioner & Cleaner in One, but have also had success with the Blue Magic Conditioner and Cleaner on the Saddle seats.

what concerns me is I have the perforated leather. How is everyone protecting that without clogging the holes?

See my post above...you don't want to use a thick cream.

2X the Ultima Interior Guard Plus. Was recommended elsewhere in this forum. I was skeptical, but it is amazing great. Will absolutely not clog the perforated leather, and a little bit goes a long ways. I had been using Meguires and 3M Leather treatments, but this stuff sold me. Pricey, but the 12 oz size should last the life of my Jeep.

I used turtle wax leather cleaner/ conditioner wipes. They worked great and it was not a heavy cream like previously mentioned.

Re: Leather seats

Chemical Guys leather conditioner in a spray bottle, I prefer the liquid form because it won't jam up the pores in the vented seats like a thicker lotion.

OT: I love the vented seats on a hot day, helps with swamp ass :D

x3 Looks shiny when you put it on but when dry seats look just like the day I bought it. Put it on the dash/doors too. I have been using Ultima PGP on exterior of my BMWs and have the same bottle since 2008. Last night just did my 4th coat of Ultima on the outside of my WK2 and the shine is killer. The bottle of the interior guard should last YEARS
