Worst buying experience ever...please help

Hi all. I'm new to this forum and this is my first American car ever. I liked the jeep so much that I decided to pull the trigger on it. I got a good deal on a white Limited V6 4x2 with lux 2 package for 34849 after incentives but before ttnl. Got a good amount for my trade and did all paperwork. I saw the initial car at Helfman riveroaks in Houston but decided to buy the same car at Gillman Jeep near beltway 8 because they offered me a better price. It was the biggest mistake ever to buy from Gillman. I would advise NEVER buy from them. Service is horrible. They said they can get me the car at Helfman amd we made a deal, signed paperwork for the car and I got a loan and gave them a check. After 4 days of going back and fourth wandering where my car was, wasted four days of my life, finds out they sold me a car they couldnt get/ deliver. All the paper work was done for that vin and paid for by a cashier check for 36k and they can't deliver. And on top of that during the four days they keep telling me someone is getting the car come back in a few hrs.. It'll be here..it'll be here. The truth finally came out when I took my wife up there and raised hell on the fourth day. Worst worst car buying experience ever!!!

Anyhow..sorry about the rambling. They are now trying to get us in a white Overland 4x2 with Saddle seats, advance warning system, tow package 2, v8 hemi that is on the lot for 39000 after incentive but before ttnl. It's the exact same car we want but more. And that's the lowest they would go for all the inconvenience. Msrp is around 44900. Is that a good deal and should I pull the trigger? Although I would hate to buy from them, the Sales manager is horrible, the gm won't even talk do anything when my wife was complaining to him.but now I just want a damn car and don't want to waste anymore time. Is this a good deal. Please please advise

If you hate them so...why buy it from them? Get your money back (which you NEVER should have handed over without having the vehicle in front of you ) and go buy it from the other dealer. Sometimes the cheapest price is too good to be true. Classic bait and switch, I wouldn't do business with them even if it cost me a little more not to.

Also, I think the price on the Limited is supposed to read $34,849...at least I hope so!

Wow..some dealers suck. I personally never will do another dealer trade..for reasons like yours..one of mine showed up with scratches etc...
I would go to the dealer that has stock...or if you're suckey dealer won't let u outta the deal... Tell them u wanna see the car ASAP and in person before you sign anything

If the MSRP is 44,900 it's a pretty good deal.

As bad as the dealer sounds, you made rookie mistakes in buying and paying for a high cost item.

Absolutely...to fork over the cash when the dealer doesn't even have the car...

For an Overland that is a pretty good deal, I bought my Summit for 1% below invoice. So you are definitely getting a better deal than I got.

^^^^ +1. I would NOT buy a vehicle from them. Go elsewhere, there are plenty of WK2's out there.

Milous is right a dealership that can not even be honest about their stock does not deserve your business. You can make a good deal anywhere, and even go 4x4 or a Hemi now if you like.
