QL Question

Is it normal for the QL suspension to level (self adjust) when the jeep is first started?

Re: QL Question

Mine would self adjust when first started, I think it's pretty normal for air suspension to do that.

Re: QL Question

Very normal, it lowers when parked for exit/enter.

Re: QL Question

The lowering for exit is an EVIC setting. The JGC has a sort of " sleeping mode"; at start up the noose goes up a little. Not always, in my case.

yes, this is what I notice as well. I wasn't sure being that it's a closed system...thought with this there should be no air loss when parked. I have had no issues with QL thus far and was hoping it's how the system works. I won't worry about it. Thanks!

It's normal, especially if you park it in aero mode.

I think it is interesting that if you park it in "Sport" mode, it will raise back to normal as soon as you start it -- but if you lower it to "Park" mode, it doesn't do that. It stays in Park until you start moving.

My 2012 overland does not have a lower for exit evic setting. I must do that manually.

Yep, sorry, I think you're right. Manual in parking mode, if under a certain speed it lowers for parking and easy exit.
The EVIC setting is the easy exit for seat and steering wheel.
As you would guess; I never use either of them.:D

Re: QL Question

I just recently noticed that my nose drops when parked (not sure after how long) and then it raises back up again when I start.

I don't typically put it in park mode.

That's the "sleeping mode".
