Hid off road light question

i have 3 5k HID conversion Hella off road lights on the front of my jeep. When i flip the switch to light these suckers up it takes about 20 seconds for them to get to their max brightness.

i was wondering if i could upgrade my ballasts and it have any affect on reducing the time it takes to light them up.

any ideas?

Thanks.

actually i purchased the lights with the conversion a while ago and i dont remember what kit was used, most likely NOT XD. I am posting it here because XD might have some insight to the way ballasts work and could recommend me something, if it would make a difference. I would be more than happy to support one of our vendors if they could advise me of such a product.

also, i have all 3 ballasts spliced to one power wire, not sure if that might be an issue as well.

My Eagle Eyes are the same way - HID's need to warm up. My spots are 55W - about the same amount of warmup time.

i wish there was a way to make them just light up...

i put a new ballast on my drivers side head light and it lights up right away... my passanger side takes a few seconds. i was hoping there was a heavy duty style ballast i could throw on my AUX lights...
