Looking for 2nd Jeep

I am guessing the 2000 Wrangler sport? I do not know about those, but the 98 are very good. I have a 95 limited and looked into details and found that there is very little difference between mine and the 1.5 gen. My jeep right now is 237k and been good. If you get the 5.9L limited, that would be awesome. That one goes...

I was thinking Cherokee sport. If so, I had one for 12 years as my daily driver. Loved pretty much everything about it. It was no frills but never complained, never let me down. I totaled it last year & started looking for another one. Mine was the 4 door, FYI

If you don't have a family that you take wheeling with you plus a ton of gear (kinda goes with having the family), it's hard to beat the XJ. Just the right size for a wheeler/DD for a single guy. I built the ZJ when my XJ got too small for us, & I notice the difference on the tighter Colorado trails for sure. Still loving the ZJ for the adventure/camping thing we mostly do now. HTH

If you can find a 5.9 limited nothing beats those for pure power but just use premium fuel because you will notice a difference in power and fuel mileage compared to regular fuel

The grand Cherokee is a little bigger and has more creature comforts than the Cherokee. For 6k you could easily get a 5.9 which is the holy grail pretty much for zj's, having all the options and the biggest engine. My 95 has been good and running strong with 206,000 miles but I sure wouldn't mind having a Cherokee that's built

5.9 is a great motor, but for wheeling, not a requirement. For 6k you could find a well built example of either(ZJ/XJ), or get whatever is cheaper/in better condition and have fun with building it your way. My 318 with 4.56 gears turns 33's damn well, and no need to run premium gas. I also got alot of places in an XJ/4.0/4.56 & 33's, but I'm really digging the V8.
