2008 GK CRD Oil Leak - Drivers Side
After reading several items, I have changed to the new Intake hose going into the turbo, thinking that would solve my oil leak problem. Unfortunately, it has not. I am getting a very slow drip on the front drivers side, pretty much under the battery. I have been told by Jeep that I have a bad oil cooler that needs replacing, and another mechanic who said my turbo is bad and causing the problems. With only 64,000 miles on it and no slow down in performance, I am struggling to believe it is the turbo. I am just at a loss at this point, for I can't really trace down where the leak is coming from, but clearly running down a hose or electrical housing, and then puddling on my frame at the drivers side front of the vehicle. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I just don't have $1,500 for the oil cooler - especially since they won't guarantee me that is what is causing the leak.

My commander had to have a new cooler at 20k miles, so they do go. $1,500 sounds well dear though!
