Hi my name is tim and im new to forums so i thought its pretty neat to be apart of one, i have a 2000 jeep grand cherokee laredo and have a problem with my axel seal on the left rear. i had it replaced a couple months ago and its leaking again. i put srt8 jeep wheels on it so could that cause the leak? i looked at a couple websites and some people sat it might be the vent tube, the axel shaft is bent or it might be the lubricant. any input would be much apprecitated!
Re: Axel seals
Had this same problem with 04 wj same left rear, i bought the better seal and put a lil rtv sealant around the retainer this time and so far so good, also i put new sway bar links in the back cause they were bad and "heard" that could of been my culprit due to more axle movement, and be very careful with that seal hope it helps
