Is your hvac silent?

Without checking out a new jeep I was wondering what the consensus was on the forums. Does your hvac sound like an old computer case fan or is it silent? Mine seems to have a whine to it which I don't remember. Obviously the fan has to spin but should it be heard or not?

No both of mine have been very loud IMO. Unless it is on a low speed it is extremely loud for the amount of air pushed out. Even on low you can hear the fan humming away.

Not really. I can barely hear the fan and only if I am trying to hear it.

I made a point of turning on my AC on the way home today to check for you. It's very quiet during low and high settings. The only whine I heard was from my girlfriend.

Mine's pretty quiet on the medium and very quiet on the low settings.

It's loud only the highest and second-highest fan settings. All I hear is rushing air. I don't hear any "whine".

Both as in you own two jeeps or have already have one HVAC switched out?

My seat fan is louder than the HVAC fan
