Ordered some goodies today

...and it's always more fun when it's NOTHING you need. I've got a new rear wiper arm on the way, some new outside window wipes, another rear step pad, and a used grille.

....things might be getting dipped...that's all I'm sayin'.

I have new Wiper Arms but have yet to install them and thought about ordering a new rear wiper arm. Are they hard to remove and replace?

Forget the dip, I want to see everything wrapped in CF. :pimp:

The rear is simple...it's just a bolt, and pull/wiggle. The fronts require some finesse. Remove the one nut holding the arm on, and I've used a battery terminal puller (you can get this at any autoparts store very inexpensively). Use the puller and it pops right out.

Sounds good. I went the cheap route and just painted over the blemishes. Like I said I've had a new pair of front wiper arms from Just for Jeep's and have never been able to use them since I needed that battery terminal puller thing. Where did you order your rear wiper arm?

Re: Ordered some goodies today

I went with teamgrandcherokee.com. I normally get this kind of stuff from justforjeeps, but teamgrandcherokee had everything I was looking for so I only have to pay shipping once.

Teamgrandcherokee has a tool for removing the arms too, but I've got no experience with it. I do have experience with the battery terminal puller, and it works perfectly. Use a rag between the puller and the edge of the hood to avoid chipping your paint. It doesn't take much to get them to pop off.

Alright, thanks

Man that's a drastic price difference on that rear arm at Team Grand Cherokee!

How good are those Gatorback serpentine belts you recommended?

...I think I missed your belt question...

They look and feel a lot huskier. To some extent, a belt is a belt, but when you're talking about $5 or $10 for something that could leave you stranded, I go for the "best". I've also made it a habit to change the belt right after a buy a vehicle. I tend to do a general tune up and replace the belt. The old belt then goes in the spare-tire well in the event mine ever fails. It's cheap and easy insurance.
