Directional Tires
I just hand washed my truck for the 1st time in months since we are getting 70+ degree temps here. As I was putting on some tire shine, I notice that the tire shop that I had throw on my winter tires place two tires on the wrong way. My winter tires are directional and I will be running them in the summer since the tires won't last for another season. My concern is that I want the tires to last me at least until next winter and will having directional tires place on backwards add more wear to the tire or will it stay the same. I know that having them on backwards would reduce the amount of grip in the snow and ice but what about wear?

Re: Directional Tires
It will just reduce Grip on wet surfaces. It wont increase wear

Re: Directional Tires
Ok, I'll just get it fixed when I have them rotated. Thanks!

Re: Directional Tires
I noticed last week that two of my tires are backwards as well. I drove with them like that all year and they wore the same. They handled perfectly in harsh weather as well

Re: Directional Tires
My problem was the wear. I don't really care about the tires but wanted them to get me to next winter so I don't have to use my summer tires
