She's Shiny And I Know It
Woke up at 7am blue sky and sunshine, got started at 8:30 for my Spring time paint detail.

Process was:
Wash (Autoglym Shampoo and Conditioner)
Decontaminate (Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover & IronX)
Clay (Sonus Fine Clay + Megs Clay Kit - dropped the sonus bar d'oh)
Wash (Autoglym Shampoo and Conditioner)
Polish (2x Autoglym Super Resin Polish - New version)
Glaze (3x Detail Shoppe Wet Glaze 2.0)
Wax (2x Zymol Vintage)

So here is what I started with (2 coats of Colinite 476s holding up great although it was under a car cover over Winter - brilliant wax).

Then after decontaminating the surface - mainly just tar IronX didn't do much - and claying I moved on to applying two coats of the new improved version of Super Resin Polish. Loved the ease of application, and it seemed to look even better than the old stuff.

Then after drooling at this, I brought out my latest acquisition - Wet Glaze 2.0. Oh my gosh, I read a comment before I bought it from a guy with a silver car where he said it was like adding more clear coat. Couldn't say it better. Slapped on three coats, goes on and off easy.

You guys got this April 2011, it's just available here.

I can't recommend Wet Glaze 2.0 if you have a silver car enough, seriously I have used a few glazes before but this blows them out the water on looks and ease of application. The paint looks dripping wet.

Then after stopping for a break to down 2 ltr of water I figured I'd be just as well locking it in today and that'd be that. So grabbed my tub of Vintage and slapped on two coats of this - sadly the sun faded after I finished so not the best pics but the LSP adds nothing to the finish anyway really.

Not sure if that was a good idea since Wet Glaze has a polymer sealant within it but I'm thinking it and Vintage will gas together.

By this stage my arms, legs and back were broken so I limped in the Jeep and put it away for the night.

Going to tackle the interior tomorrow - weather and shoulder permitting. I think I've ripped my right arm out my shoulder, can barely lift it... Should have used the porter cable but then I'd just have white finger instead.

Sorry for the amount of pics, just wanted to share it from all angles.

Comments welcome as always and thanks for taking the time to look.
