Tire and MPG

I was wondering if someone could estimate for me the mmile per gallon i will use if I add a set of 22inch SRT Reps to my WK2 Currently i just have the stock 18s on there. Thanks alot

Re: Tire and MPG

Its the size of the tire that matters, not the wheel. The mileage wont be very different unless you get something a good bit different in circumference, providing you drive EXACTLY the same. The weight of the combo would effect acceleration more than mileage.

All about weight too...the stockers tend to be heavy, especially the 18" ers so get the weights of a 33" rep and the tire you want, pop a stocker off and weigh it. That will give you an idea if weight will play into factor too...

I know my srt wheels way a ton more than my stockers and i have heard the reps weigh even more. I only have 20s so i can only assume the 22s will be worse. They will certainly reduce your mpgs

The reps weigh 1 more pound on the 20x9's than the oem's

i wanted to verify this and actually it is the opposite if milous has the correct srt wheel weights on his site.

stock srt front - 36.2 LBS
FR 20x9 - 35.9

stock srt rear - 37.6 LBS
FR 20x10 - 36.7 LBS

i have a freight scale in my garage and some extra FR wheels so i used a cardboard box to balance the wheels and then tared the scale and then measured each wheel.
