2006 grand cherokee aftermarket headlight opinions

Im wanting to go with some halo styled headlights with black housings. Are all halos blue because i think id like a white ring if theres a such thing.
Also do aftermarket hids all still fit in the housings
I really cant decide on what to do

he was just stating that in his opinion Halo Rings on your headlights we in about 7yrs ago, and that they look like they belong on a Japanese import not a jeep.

while i do agree most halo lights are not done right on jeeps so they do look cheap and ricerish. but when done right by modding your factory headlights and installing halos into the factory buckets they look nice, especially stuff done from AAC(Advance Automotive Concepts) AACstyle.com. they do alot of work for people on the LX forums like 3cf lxf and 300cfourmz.

anyhow if you want to do halos do it like i mentioned above alot of people still like halos as they look really nice when done right. as far as being on a WK i have plenty of SRT8s with halos that are sick so i wouldnt worry about it not being the "IN" thing.

Well yea. My min concearn is really just gettin rid of the amber on the side. And it would be the same price just to buy the halos. Im just gettin opinions. I cant really decide.

the best thing i could suggest is get the a Set of OEM replacement Lenses NO Halo and if you want to install halos in them at a later time you can and you can do it right, if you buy lenses with halos they are usually cheap halos. you can order halo rings from flash tech or AAC and they are good quality halo rings. you just got to be willing to put the extra effort in so they will look really nice.

the cool thing about flashtech halos are they well flash not always you can just control them to flash if you like you can set them to flash and wig - wag like strobes. or have them just on solid.

Retrofit projectors. And if you have an 08-10 WK, get the OEM projectors.

you have to build them crack open your factory lights and retrofit a set of projector lenses into your factory housing and paint them black.

you can find projectors from theretrofitsource.com

you can always have yours painted and have the amber covered over.
