Little Help With My CAI
Hows it going everyone?

I managed to install my k&n series 77 polished intake kit over the weekend.
(rainy weekend)

Everything is on there correctly and drives great
and i can definetly feel the difference in HP.

My concern is that this sucker is waaaaaaaaaayy too loud every time i start the engine and i really
dont know if its normal or something might be installed incorrectly.

Any suggestions??

Re: Little Help With My CAI
Mine's loud on my 4.7 does quiet down a little once the engine backs down in rpm from startup. All that crap the mfg has between your stock air filter and the throttle body is all intended to "quiet" things down. You've removed all that by straight piping. Plastic would probably be a little quieter, but it doesn't shine as nice as the polished tubing you've got.
