Shocks and Struts

So where did you guys buy your Bilstein shocks and struts?

I checked the sticky and the links no longer work.

Whats the best place to get them?

I am looking for close to stock ride height but a firmer more crisp better handling suspension. My goal is Bilstein shocks rear, struts front, and SRT sways all around, possibly the b woody end links in the future if money is available.

If i cant lift it i want it to be as bad ass stock as possible.

Re: Shocks and Struts

tirerack.com also has them

I didnt like the WK Bilsteins....they raise ya 3/8" and they were just a little firmer than the stockers. The handling and road manners were much better though. The best Bilsteisn for the WK are the SRT Bilsteins

Thanks, You gotta remember scott, i am a guy who used to drive around on 35" MT tires, with a 5.5" lift and Bilstein 5125 rear shocks and Edlebrock remote resi front shocks.

I just want to ride to be firmer, and not so bouncy, but still have the added handeling of the srt sways.

As far as the 3/8" raise, that wont bother me, if anything then i can say i have a 3/8" lift. LOL For me if i could i would lift it tomorrow and throw 33s on it. But i cant.

I would be building a Jeep speed rig this time though. www.jeepspeed.com

Shox.com $319 for all 4 free shipping.

Shockwarehouse.com $318 free shipping. I will prolly go with shox.com though because i had good luck with them before.

Re: Shocks and Struts

dude...seriously the SRT Bilsteins are awesome and not bouncy at all. They will not lower you at all. They are stock height. Seriously dude....if I was gonna do say a 2" lift or something that keeps the stock shocks...i would use the SRT Bilsteins. I think they would be perfect for what you want. Stock height...but balls to the wall handling and road manners.
