Possible Solution for Body Colored Mirror Covers

I really dislike the chrome mirror covers and there doesn't seem to be a way to get body colored covers. I wish you could buy just the body colored cover like you can the chrome one.

Can't I just buy a Laredo mirror in my body color and take the mirror cover from that? Two mirrors would be $250. Would rather have a much cheaper option but I would spend the money just to get rid of the chrome covers.

Thoughts?

well yes, that would be ideal. but the odds of someone wanting to trade black covers for chrome is slim, i would imagine.

I am sure they sell the covers only for the laredo in your color.
Why not? the cover has a part number..

I've looked on MOPAR and trademotion and I can't find the body colored mirror cover as a part that I can purchase.

Same dilemma;

I would like to lose my chrome mirror covers and replace them for some painted Brilliant Black ones. You can buy entire mirror assembles but not just the painted BB covers alone! Even though Mopar does offer just the covers in chrome for Laredo owners who want chrome.

Why dont you have a decent garage paint the Chrome mirrors you already have to match?

black Ops makes some mirror covers in CF that fit perfect. get enough peeps together and you may be able to talk him into FG covers you could have painted.

Might be interested in the CF ones if I can't find black either

I'm interested in Brilliant Black mirror covers too. Although, when I left work today and walked up to my GC the chrome looked pretty good. Zero interest in Carbon Fiber.

I have come around on my chrome mirror covers, and I think I will keep them. Still need to get the liftgate brow strip painted though.
