LED Light Bar attached

After a long day waiting I finally got the LED light bar in. Light out put is good, not as good as being up high on a roof rack or basket but good enough to make a difference with high beam. Light is white and clear and looks great. http://img.tapatalk.com/c094756b-2e2f-b6d1.jpg

Tomorrow the roof racks and basket go on. More photos to follow.

It would be good to see an led light bar like that with an integrated sunroof wind deflector. Then you could mount on the roof in front of the sunroof.

The smart option would be to integrate it into a overhead basket or even roofrack.
What is the output on the led's Magoomba?

Believe me, I'm really looking forward to getting back on the airbase and driving the taxiways, lol, it will light up well. Great place to straighten, align and adjust the lights as well.

Looks Great, can you see it when it is turned off? Also, how did they hook into the high beam, looking forward to the pics of the roof basket.

I would like to know as well how they integrated it with the high beam?

To integrate with high beam, don't you take a feed off the live wire from high beam and run that to the trigger on the relay?

The HID high beam and low beam is from the same light, There is a shutter that drops down between the globe and the projector that cuts off the light for low beam. We would have to hunt around and hopefully find a wire that runs to the coil or relay for this shutter. It looks like to do this i may have to take the front bumber off to get to the light as acess is quite restricted.
