Fog light HID????

Was wondering if there is a kit to male the fog lights match the color of the headlights on my '12 WK2 overland with smart beam headlights!?

I love the color of my headlights but want all the lights to match, so is there a HID kit for the fogs and if so which one an what color do I need 6000k or 8000k?

Thanks for the help an sorry if this has been covered but the search feature on tapatalk blows donkey balls!

Re: Fog light HID????

Well all vehicles that come stock with HID bulbs are 4300K. The only thing is if you were to put a 4300K plug and play HID kit into a halogen fog light housing it would look very yellow. I think the best color rating to match OEM in a halogen based housing would be 6000K. Anything less would look too yellow, and anything higher would look kind of ricey IMO and would look more purple or blue than anything.

I dont even know what size the fog light bulbs are, do they even make a HID kit that would fit right?

I have the Xenondepot 4300 kit and they're a pretty close match to the stock headlights.

Well I just picked up a set of 5202 LED lights, read they won't be as bright but I'm not concerned as I've never had a vehicle with fogs and we don't get much fog here in MT I'm more after the look! Thanks for all the tips fellas will post up some pics when it's done

I just read on another Jeep forum that one guys' fog light housing melted from HID's. Go with LED's, they take a lot less power and they don't give off nearly as much heat as a HID would.

Got the 5202 LED lights in sorry no pics yet :( but they look sick, they are def closer to 6k so now I need to get 6k headlight bulbs, any ideas on if you can just change out the bulbs? Or do you need the whole HID kit??
