06 4.7L commander
Well My rpms have been hunting a bit and the idle is not as smooth as it used to be, I have 84,000 on the clock with original EGR and PCV And IAC and TPS should I replace all of these and my plugs are due for a change I was thinking champion iridium, all maintenance has been done regularly synthetic oil and such. My manifold is leaking too so that will be fixed also. Where is the egr and pcv on the 4.7?

Also I have this strange whistle any time on gas it comes and goes ideas???

Re: 06 4.7L commander
Only use oem champion copper plugs on the 4.7

Re: 06 4.7L commander
Egr is on the drivers side behind the engine and the pcv is on the oil fill tube

Re: 06 4.7L commander
open your hood and inspect the emissions lable for sparkplug recommendation... I would suggest running an oem spec plug and nothing else. which is exactly as stated above, a champion copper plugs.

I would start with your throttle position sensor, pcv valve (unrelated to concerns, simply due to mileage) and your spark plugs (also unrelated to your concern). Throttle position sensors on the 4.7l are CRAZY common for failing in this way, very rarely do they actually throw a code.
