Dumped exhaust and passing inspection

Thinking about dumping the exhaust on my 3.7. Anyone know the advantages/disadvantages of this and roughly how much it will cost? Also will it pass inspection as long as it is after the muffler? Will my custom PVC cai stop it from passing also?

I see no advantage, it would sound horrible on a V6. Stick with your Super 44 or get another cat-back. JMO.

Ok. Thanks. I just saw that someone else had it done so I was wondering about it.

BS DO IT! But you will not pass inspection because you can not have your exhaust "dump inside the passenger cabin" and as the entire jeep is a passenger cabin it wont pass.... Unless you know someone, like me :D
