Anyone know roughly how much this will cost to repair?

I have a 2009 Jeep Rubicon that requires servicing due to "wear and tear".

I need to replace the following:
-steering dampner
-2 front tires due to the steering dampner.
-front and rear differentials.

I'm wondering how much (including labor) to get all this done. Please help. I want to make sure that these are really necessary at this point in time.

a couple grand at the least, without labor.

Does warranty actually cover this?

yes, that will be under your warranty.... you should only have to pay for the tires

Stupid question but how long does warranties usually last? My jeep is a 2009

Are you the original owner? Usually it is a 3 year 36k miles bumper to bumper and 7year 70k miles powertrain

Yes I am the original owner. Where can I found out if my warranty is still good?

pm me your vin, your mileage and the first 4 letters of your last name and I can tell you.

Also the steering dampener has little effect on tire wear, your wear factors are your alignment angles specifically your toe but camber and caster have some effect too. If your front tires are wearing out I would make sure your tie bar is not damaged and verify there is no play in the joints then have an alignment done AFTER you replace the tires.

Why do you feel you need front and rear differentials? just curious.

The differentials was something they also suggested I do as part of maintenance. According to them "x" mileage should get it cleaned up. In my case in addition, the rear seems to be leaking. So they said they can do both for 300-350.

I'm sorry but I don't know when maintenance is required etc. There was other boatload suggestions such as air filter etc. can't remember it all. Ikno that all surmounted to 2100 or so when all is said and done. I only focused on the critical ones they thought I definitely need to get done.

LOL you dont need new differentials....... you need new fluid. it should be replaced around every 15k miles. that is very simple to do yourself and will only cost around $50-60

What if it was leaking? Doesn't it have to be replaced?
