Owned the Overland 1 year now

Its been a year now and 15K miles and I still really like this vehicle. I have had a few issues but they seem resolved for the most part. I don't know if anyone else has noticed this but the jeep just seems smoother after 15k miles some of the vibes I was getting when new are gone it just seems like it took some breaking in. I do have a couple small rattles nothing too bad. The plastic around the steering column creeks if you even push on it with your hand. Other than these minor issues I have very happy and plan on having the jeep for several years.

Glad to hear your liking your Overland. How has your QL worked so far?

Just hit a year with mine as well. So far, so good. I would buy the exact same truck with the same options as a 2012 today if I were in the market...

+1
29K miles, 15 months with no problems at all. QL has worked perfectly also.

A bit over a year for me, at about 10K miles. I really loved my Overland and I think its the best vehicle I've ever owned. I've had no issues.

I noticed that too, it just seems to run better and better. I've also learned that those GY tires seem to vibrate when below 36 psi, and smooth above 37. The pressure does vary a surprising amount with weather conditions.

Nearly a year and over 20000 miles, a rattle sometimes in the headliner, not enough to take a special trip to the dealer. I've been waiting for something that really needs attention, but nothing else so far. Surprising as the car was one of the last ones off the line on a Friday, and then spent some time driving around Detroit between storage areas waiting for the train. QL has been perfect, have learned to deal with the 730N quirks. Perhaps I'll have the dealer detail the exterior to clean off the winter crime and have that rattle attended to.

Sometimes you lose sight of how good this car is (not perfect but pretty good) until you drive something else and come back to it.

I agree with the part about driving something else. I was out of town and had a rental Liberty and when I came back and got in mine at the airport it seemed like it drove way better than I remembered.

Just over 1 year and 24K miles here on our Overland. Still love it. Hate the Goodyears, and can't wait for them to wear enough to justify replacing them. Otherwise it's been a great vehicle. Have just started towing a light trailer for my karting equipment and have been very impressed with how the V6 handles it. Really a great all around, do a little bit of everything vehicle.

Just hit 1 year in my Overland! 23K miles. I was listening to Sirius as it expired!!

Use my Quadra-Lift daily and zero issues *knock on wood* absolutely love the overall package that the Grand Cherokee provides in terms of comfort, luxury, style.

Mine is now 18 months old and I'm still loving it. It's also my 4th Grand Cherokee over 16 years.

I have had two issues, my drivers sun visor came loose and my QL failed 3 months ago. In retrospect, I had warnings on the EVIC with "system cooling down" on many occasions, whenever I lowered to the Park setting (every time I park). Since replacement of the compressor in early January, I've not seen this warning anymore and so far so good.

Overall, the GC has come a long way and has matured into a nice luxury SUV. As for driving smoother over time, I doubt it. We just get use to the feel.

2012 Overland now 7 months old. 10,000Km or about 6,000 miles.

Rear Passenger door lock inoperative on delivery and rear tailgate lock/unlock button damaged due to water intrusion. Leather seat issue on the drivers side. All taken care of by Chrysler warranty with no questions.

Really little stuff that was more annoying than material.

As the miles pile on, it does seem to run more smoothly.

Would I buy it again? Yes!!!

Well this is my 2nd JGC, owned the original 1993 ZJ Limited when that came out. I'm loving the vehicle so far and for the price it's very well equipped compared to it's German sister in the garage. That being said, I do notice it's not as well put together as the MB ML, something to be said about German engineering just feels more precise. Like others stated, it's just the small things that bug me about the Jeep (the fit and finish is so close to being 100%). But for $40,000 less....I'm not complaining. Hopefully it will treat me as well as my other SUV has.
