Cons & Pros on removing the muffler

I have a 09 WK with a 3.7l engine. Im doing the srt conversion. I have the OEM SRT8 full cat-back exhaust, but I cant use the muffler. So I was thinking of removing the muffler or replacing it with a different muffler for a good sound, something close to srt8 maybe.
Any pros, cons or recommendations would be great.

I used to drive an 05 chrysler 300 3.5L and I put a JBA exhaust made for the 5.7 on it and it sounded awesome, no one knew it was a v6

Just a thought, maybe buy a hemi exhaust?

I know that I will not get the same sound as a V8 from a V6

So I had the exhaust installed today. did exactly what Scott suggested.
IMO it is way too loud and sounds like sh1t. So I am thinking of getting a flowmaster 44 series muffler or any other one. anybody has any suggestions?

I know iJeep's SRT setup on his v6 wasn't annoying sounding at all.

Maybe if you can find that post, you can be the judge

Super 44 will be loud, but not as shit...

You may have a leak somewhere...

Aftermarket exhausts just make noise, a negative with most people as you also found out; all hot dog, and no mustard. Flowmaster will also be a noise maker. Spend your $ elsewhere.
