Re: The GC is getting tricked out!

HAve fun with modding; tests have proven slotted rotors do nothing for performance and just eat brake pads much faster. The catback will also do nothing but make noise, as the log style exhaust mani is where the big restriction is. Get SRT sways instead of the catback, as the Bilsteins will bounce aroiund with stock sways, and the SRT sways will really help reduce that. Also replace the end links as they go bad usually within 40k.

Good gains will still be made with an intake and exhaust. I called a performance shop about the headers and I'll be bringing it by tomorrow so the shop fabricator can take a look at it. I chose slotted because of looks mainly and I know that they won't eat the brakes up too bad like drilled will.

Do you have a link of how to install srt8 sway bars? To they bolt right on without mods or headache? Doesn't changing out sway bars also require an alignment?

LOL. Our exhaust is so restricted especially the headers. So you will feel a bit of a gain. Our intakes aren't need as much.

Remmy, go for the projector retro-fit!

You mean for headlights? I'm totally down if somebody fans them up on here. I don't have tools or time nor facilities to take care of it. I work long and weird hours at the squadron and live in the barracks.

Might not get many 'in-work' pics as I have to fly out of state and do some missions with my squadron for a week or more. Ill get pics when I can.

As for the retro fits... SOMEBODY POINT ME TO SOMEONE WHO CAN DO 'EM!! (please)

:)

When dealing with these professional outfitters it's going to be much pricier obviously than doing it yourself but I've heard good things from these people.
