Pentastar aftermarket bolt-on intake

Has anyone here heard of some kind of bolt on intake or manifold for the new Pentastars? I read about it several months ago but can't seem to find anything on it anymore. I'm not mechanical at all but it seems like it something to do with air intake/valves and would provide more hp and mpg.

thanks!

Neither an intake nor manifold will do anything for the valves, it will only provide more air. However the computer will adjust for the extra air, and dump more fuel, so you'll get more hp but not more mpg. There's usually also a gauranteed trade off in reliablity and engine life which is why you run into warranty issues. There's a trade off on pretty much all mods like that.

The stock intake is pretty well engineered on all cars these days. If there was a way for them to squeeze more hp and mpgs out of an engine and still offer 100K mile powertrain warranty, they would have done it by now.

The Pentastar in the Challenger is rated +25 HP over the Wrangler due to a more aggressive intake manifold. Maybe that's a place to start, see if one could be swapped in off of a Challenger, or an aftermarket manifold for the Challenger might fit the Jeep.
