Sirius Subscription Question

My free Sirius subscription expired and Iím looking to renew possibly. They have 2 packages available. Do I need the more expensive package to get traffic and the travellink functions to work or does that work regardless of what package I would choose?

traffic and weather are extra.

whatever they say is the retail price tell them you can pay about half tat. they will make you the deal.

I recently renewed my radio for about 80 bux for another year.

I just got a thing in the mail for 6 months at $25.

Scan it. Can we all use it.

Re: Sirius Subscription Question

Don't pay more than about $80 for a year. I ended up cancelling my last account after the first year because they wouldn't move on the price. Yet a month later I had a shiny new offer in my mailbox for 70-something a year. You'd think they would just offer a fair price and be done with the games.

I would but it has my radio ID and Account # on it, so I might only be able to get this. Try this and see what it does: www.siriusxm.com/comeback5

let me know how it goes.

Re: Sirius Subscription Question

Caution: for the comeback5 deal, you have to give a credit card. After five months, they'll auto-renew at full price. Better to get the $77/year deal by phone and request an invoice so you can pay by check.

Re: Sirius Subscription Question

I just called them today to renew my subscription, ( it just expired a few days ago). they quoted me $200.00. I told them i wanted to buy the service not the actual satellite!
I gave them my email and they said to keep an eye out for future offers.

Thanks for mentioning this. I usually throw that stuff out since it looks like spam. I had a pile of mail destined for the trash and looked through and saw the sirius envelope with the $25 deal + free activation. Thanks again

Re: Sirius Subscription Question

You can usually call your credit card company and get a 1-time use code to give to Sirius. Doing this, the charge will not go thru at re-up time.

Another trick is to use a card that will be expiring before the re-up date.

Re: Sirius Subscription Question

As said a few post above, tell them to simply send you a bill. After they agree to that, tell them to remove the auto renewal.
