i would say you would probably not want to go any bigger than 255/70/17 or you may rub a bit.

btw the hankooks are really nice tires from what i have heard and read, i too will be getting some soon.

I just put rubicon BFGs (245/75/17) on my stock 06 WK. The front are very close, but don't rub. I also just plastidipped them and I love it. You can see a pic in my avatar, and other pics in my build thread in member rides.

Good luck!

Great. Thanks guys for the help. Antonio, I had hankooks on my liberty and xterra. love them and great price usually to. U can get plastidip at walmart can't you? Do you guys get the spray or paint them. Take wheels off or just tape off tire and brake, rotors and spray in garage?

I'm stuck with these stock tires and ugly stock wheels and i gotta do.something about it. I just picked it up 5 days ago.

There are wheels, tires, DIY sub forums above with tons and tons of info on all your questions. Have you tried to even search? Not trying to be as a$$ but geez.

I just did mine. There are some photos, and a good explanation of what worked well here:

I got the spray at Home Depot, and used 3 cans for all 4 tires.

I also see tons of topics in this main forum that could easily be in sub forums. That is one reason I posted it where I did. A nod can move it if they feel they need to. Are you in this other topics pointing the sub forums out to them? Or do you just want to give the new guy a lot of.attention to make me feel welcome. Your method doesnt quite work for me if that is the case but I tha k you anyhow. And also thank you for continuously bumping my topic for me. Everyone else. I appreciate the info.
