Suspension upgrade

I have a 2010 wk that I love but is stock. I want to lift it but do not want to use spacers or Anything that may stiffen up the ride. I would like to upgrade the suspension adding clearance under the vehicle. I know there is many threads out there but I was hopeing this would work. I would like 2-4" more clearance. I'm open to most ideas and all opinions are welcome. Thanks!

Check out the Rough Country 2" lift. Technically its a suspension lift.

Not to mention its all steel unlike some other budget lift kits out there.

You will gain ample clearance and still maintain your stock ride comfort. If you upgrade your stock shocks to Bilsteins for example, you will gain 1/4-1/2" more of lift all around and improve your handling. It really comes down to your budget. I got my RC lift shipped for $160 and all 4 Bilsteins for i think $320. So far it has been the best money i've spent on my jeep since the day i bought her brand new.

I've got the RC 2" w Bilsteins and 1.5" spacers. Love it (although I'm adding 4" of superlift to it this summer :D)

Good luck!!

It seems like I'm gonna do the RC lift, the bilsteins, and 1.5" spacers. Thanks all for the help.

Is there anything else I need to be aware of when having this done? Any other parts or pieces I shouldn't look past?

Being that you have a 2010 i wouldnt worry about any of the rubber parts (spring isolators, bushings, links, etc...) or anything else for that matter. I would mention to the mechanic doing the work to use red loctite on the wheel studs before they are installed and also to torque the spacers down to 90 ft/lbs and also the wheels to the spacers (90 ft/lbs).

Would I get the regular Bilstein HD's even though im lifting my truck 2"? i was searching around about to order the shocks and i noticed allot of sites have shocks for lifted vehicles and shocks for non lifted vehicles.
