Staggered or non staggered?

I'm getting ready to order 22" viper rep. Just unsure of staggered setup. Has anyone seen or have pics of staggered on wk2. And I just seen they have them in polished finished. Chrome or polished?

Re: Staggered or non staggered?

Why would you put staggered wheels and tires in a WK2???
Everytime you need to buy tires you need to buy two diffrent sizes, cont rotate them and many times the tire store dont have the correct sizes available.
This happen to me everytime with my past car which had staggered tires.
Plus why would you do it in a WK2 when you really need is a good all weather tire.

Even the WK2 SRT don't have staggered wheels... 20x10 front and back...

Re: Staggered or non staggered?

There wouldn't be any problems running a staggered configuration on a WK2 as long as overall diameter of the front & back wheel+tire is relatively close.

But like the other posters, I would question what purpose this would provide. :)

Re: Staggered or non staggered?

Was only thinking wider tire on back would look nicer then 22x9. so I should just order 22x9's all the way around or 22x10?

22x10. Go big or go home.

I think there's plenty of room in the WK2's wheel well, but a lot will depend on the tire that you choose. Make sure your offset is proper.

I wouldn't even consider this unless you were 2wd. Even then, like others have said...you can never rotate, and you'll be going through very expensive tires -- very often.

Re: Staggered or non staggered?

I've got a staggered setup on my WK2 and love it, albeit mine are 20's. IMO the rear looks so much better with the 295's. As montgb said, there is no problem running this setup as long as the diameter is the same. You may be limiting yourself in tire selection going to the 22's though.

Re: Staggered or non staggered?

I just test drove an SRT8 WK2 and I thought they were staggered. Must have been confused. Glad I read this thread.
