RHR 730 Stereo - ICON question

I have the RHR 730 stereo. In the top right corner I see three small car icon's that change color from yellow/orange to green.

1. What is the ICON?

2. Why does it change colors?

It's for the GPS traffic. At least i think thats what they mean. Red means congested traffic head.

Thanks! I would have never guessed that one.

Re: 430N (Garmin RHB) stereo - ICON question

I don't think the icon has anything to do with traffic conditions. The icon simply indicates if you are getting traffic updates or not, green means you are connected and subscribed, orange/yellow not.

By the way, the 730 is an RER or RHR but not Garmin. The 430 RHB is Garmin.
