CRD low power/high fuel consumption

This engine is currently fitted to a 2005 WH Jeep Grand Cherokee with 130 000 km's. Just recently and all of a sudden this car has an excessively high fuel consumption and an feels extremely under powered. The car was getting 10.2l/100km and is now getting 14l/100km on the same drive. driving style has not changed.

To date the following has been carried out:

ECU,TCM and BCM re-flashed with latest software.
Rail pressure control solenoid replaced due to engine hunting.
Fuel filter and Air filters have been replaced.
Checked for boost leaks, none found
MAF sensor swapped from another Grand Cherokee, problem did not improve and my MAF was put into the other Grand Cherokee did not make any difference to it
Boost pressure monitored while driving, turbo makes boost as stays pretty close to the set point set by the ECU.
Injector leak back check, #5 injector found to leak the worst, 15ml in 2 minutes.
Rail pressure check carried out, 250 Bar @ idle and 1590bar under full acceleration.

Can anybody offer any further fault finding steps to carry out to try isolate this problem?

Any Ideas on this?
This thing is not a pleasure to drive at the moment.

Could be egr

Have you checked your oil level? When the high pressure fuel pump seal fails it will slowly leak into the crankcase and overfill the engine oil.

There is a fuel pressure sensor at the end of the fuel rail, if it is flacky it will allow different fuel, is that the one you replaced?

What is the condition of your air filter?

Last thing I can think of is a restricted exhaust, perhaps crimped or plugged.

Long shot but could be faulty speed sensor (applying anti skid). happened to mine, although the skid warning flashes but might be broke on yours.

Re: CRD low power/high fuel consumption

I have only got 13.5 ~ 14 L/100km since I purchased mine. Thought that it was just a very bad guzzler. I will mention it to the Jeep dealer when it is in. I am currently suffering rear left disc brake locking on after 30 ~ 50 miles of driving.

Tony.
