430N vs 730N iPhone 4 Compatibility
Hello everyone,

I always had issues connecting to my friends 2011 JGC (430 RBZ) radio with my iPhone 4. From reading some of the threads here, it sounds like some people have issues - others don't. I am looking to purchase a brand new 2012 JGC Limited and wanted to check to see if all of these connectivity issues have been flushed out? Would either a brand new 430N or 730N connect up to my iPhone 4 (via both the armrest USB and Bluetooth audio streaming) without issue? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 430N vs 730N iPhone 4 Compatibility
I have the 730n RHR with a 4s. I have not tried to connect with the armrest USB (I have an iPod classic connected there) I can tell you mine streams perfectly. It usually takes about 4 seconds of choppy audio when you first connect but then it sounds just fine. Also, I love that I can ask Siri (through Uconnect) to play Metallica and "she" will say "OK here is your Metallica" and a random Metallica song is played

Thanks for the reply - does anyone out there with a 4 have some feedback?

I have the iPhone 4 no issues on my limited 730 nav. I've steamed Bluetooth, connected through USB all works fine

Anyone have issues with an iPhone 4 and 430N? Trying to decide if I should pay for the radio upgrade or not depending on connectivity issues...thanks!
