Painted headlights is one of my favorite mods. Kind of a PITA to do but if you can get someone to help you its much easier. I would say do headlights and tails next.

It is really easy, just take your time and if you can't get an extra set of hands it will help you out enormously. All you have to do is remove the lights, put them on cookie sheet with a wet towel on it. bake them on 215 degrees for 15 min. take them out and with one person holding the light, you start to chisel out the glue. you get about five min to work on them and then you need to put them back in the oven for 10 min. repeat those steps until opened. then to put them back together just a use a adhesive sealer.

I was hesitant at first but now I have done them a couple times and its really not hard. Just little time consuming.

I've seen some rumors that the 05-07 headlights have a softer sealant and are easier to open this true?

Something like that.

It's not that they are hard to open. The process is just time consuming.

The results are well worth it.
