Rear View Mirror Gap and Rain Sense Wiper Operation
A few questions:
1. For rain sense equipped models, what is the gap between the plastic cover that sits behind the rear view mirror and the glass?
2. For rain sense equipped models, what is the gap between the top of the plastic cover that sits behind the rear view mirror and the edge of the headliner?
3. For rain sense equipped models and the rain sense feature turned on via the EVIC, if you leave the selector dialed to one of the several sensitivity settings, are the wipers supposed to wipe once once the car is turned on? Is this normal operation?
I recently had the windshield replaced by Safelite, and want to make sure everything was reinstalled properly. These are item that I did not recognize prior to the installation, as I've only had the Jeep for 8 days.
Re: Rear View Mirror Gap and Rain Sense Wiper Operation
Don't have access to the vehicle right now, but as for #3: No. Wipers do not activate on start, unless the windshield is wet, even when switch is left in one of the delay settings.
