How to buy 22" wheels... questions

Hello, I am here to introduce me and the Jeep. 2012 Overland.

I would like to get 22" rims but curious as too which offset is best and why. It seems that I could get a little wider tire on the Jeep and stick out a little further since there seems to be some room.

Questions:
- What offset is stock?
- What offset to get with 22's
- WHat width is stoclk wheels?
- What width to get with 22's
- I liked the Startech 22's that smoove7410 posted on page #6 but it wasn't his jeep so any help there with offset and rubber? Those were mounted on 265/40 Continentals.
- Lastly, my jeep is Stone White so not sure if I want to do Chrome or a darker color... thoughts?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I also posted on wheel thread... but figured I would create a new thread to get more exposure.

You didn't mention if it's 2wd or 4wd. I don't know the answer to all of your questions, but here's what I've got:

#1: No idea
#2: 38mm seems to be the most common on Tire Rack
#3: 8"
#4: The widest you can go according to Tire Rack is 9.5" with a 265/40 tire
#5: No idea

I do appreciate the help on what you know.

My JGC is a 4x4 Overland with the lift air system.

Anyone else? Anyone know anything about Startech and where to source them in the states... I think they are a foreign company.

Regards,
Bryan

Information on Startech in the US is hard to find, but you may want to start here: http://www.startech-us.com/ That claims to be their US website, but it takes you back to the European site when you click to enter. It does, however, show contact information for a US distributor.

Startech is a German company and I dont think that anyone in the US sells them anymore, but if they did you do realize that you are looking at probaly close to $6000 in just the rims alone.

I've got 22"x9.5" +38mm running a 275/40R22 Nitto NT420's love them they fit great look sick and still ride smooth

I have seen 10" with a 35series tire in a 22". The 22s on the wk2 are not very popular and hard to get info from people on here! My uncle manages a discount tire and if I remember he told me te stock wheels are a +50offset
